Cazuela de Frijoles
Cazuela de Frijoles is a Colombian bean soup-stew built for a filling freezer meal. It is rich, comforting, and excellent with rice, avocado, or a warm arepa.

Soup tastes best thawed overnight, then warmed gently.
Heat in a covered saucepan on low heat until loosened. Stir, then continue heating until hot throughout.
Use defrost only to loosen the soup. Then heat in short bursts, stirring between each burst.
Do not thaw at room temperature. Heat until steaming hot throughout, ideally 74°C / 165°F.
