Sancocho Colombiano is a filling Colombian classic made for freezer-to-table meals. It is rich, rustic, and ideal when you want a homemade soup without the prep.

Soup tastes best thawed overnight, then warmed gently.
Heat in a covered saucepan on low heat until loosened. Stir, then continue heating until hot throughout.
Use defrost only to loosen the soup. Then heat in short bursts, stirring between each burst.
Do not thaw at room temperature. Heat until steaming hot throughout, ideally 74°C / 165°F.
